Forschungsschwerpunkte

Project D5 is focused on the investigation and evaluation of electrochemical machining (ECM) as a suitable process for the finish machining of AMCs. Through systematical characterization of the dissolution mechanisms in ECM of AMCs, an empirical model will be developed that allows the machining of parts with complex shapes.
