Forschungsschwerpunkte

The material-bonded joining of ECAPed or particle reinforced aluminium alloys requires techniques that do not negatively alter the metallurgical features of these materials, if their mechanical advantages are to be retained. Through the use of diffusion welding and arc brazing processes, strategies for the production of high-strength substance-to-substance bonds will be investigated and developed.
